History

Smt. Durgesh Nandini Public Welfare Trust was established by a group of emminent social workers with the passion to serve and help the deprived and disadvantaged people of Varanasi and surrounding districts in 2005. The Trustees found a wide gap between the demand of high-quality medical services & education and actually available services on the ground, to bridge and fulfill the gaps a multispeciality hospital Nandini Medicare was started by them.

The target areas and groups are Senior citizens, women specially pregnant and lactating mothers, child health and nutrition, widow, orphans, disadvantaged youth, physically handicapped, etc. focusing on below poverty line population (B.P.L.), slums, remote rural areas of Varanasi, Ghazipur and aspirational district - Chanduali (Uttar Pradesh).

Founded with the vision to uplift the rural and slums population of Purvanchal of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Durgesh Nandini Public Welfare Trust works at grassroot level. We focus on enhancing access to education for children, health, promoting livelihood, opportunities for women, creating awareness programmes and health camps about Health and Environmental issues, and contributing to the Swach Bharat Mission through cleanliness drives and awareness campaigns.

Our Outreach programmes are designed to reach the most marginalized groups including economically weaker sections (EWS), women in distress, Senior citizens in need and unattended and Children lacking access to basic educational, health and nutritional facilities.

In a span of 20+ years, the trust & its hospital has been able to establish a distinct identity for delivering social welfare & specialty medical services to Varanasi and surrounding districts.
